I’m a Canadian mom of two little humans living in the mountains. I grew up in the province of Quebec, and about 10 years ago my partner and I decided to move across the country to the West Coast. We found our true home away from home — bigger mountains, like-minded people, and a place where we wanted to raise our kids. The journey hasn’t always been easy, but I truly couldn’t imagine my life any other way.

Before having kids, my partner and I spent most weekends on the move. I wouldn’t call us classic weekend warriors since we also loved spending time at home, but weekends were definitely for exploring — camping, climbing, skiing, anything really! Since having kids, we’ve adjusted our lifestyle a little bit, but we still try to head out on small and big adventures whenever we can. This year, we’ll be traveling to Europe and Mexico for a year-long adventure abroad!

I’m a French speaker, so bear with me if some of my sentence structures aren’t perfect. I do my best to proofread everything I write, but my French brain doesn’t always catch every mistake!

Life is too short to stay at home all weekend…
